Captive Ring Bottle Stopper
Bottle stopper made of rosewood with hardware from an older broken one. Had to make my own tool to get the do a captive ring in such a tight spot. The design is pretty boring but I think it turned out alright.

my first Kauri turned bowl.
This is my first bowl that I turned on my late. I only have a face plate so it left the holes at the bottom but you make do. The wood that I used is swamp Kauri from the marshes of northland, new Zealand. The wood has a natural large inclusion and a darker black material that has filled it. The black material may have been caused buy insects that fed off of the tree. The bowl has a golden tint when held to the light. I am happy with it seeing as it is my first bowl.
