Natural Edge bowl

Made from ‘mystery wood’. I wanted to try this technique but couldn’t find a blank handy to buy so I took my trusty bow saw out into some scrub woods near my house and took down a suitable size tree. About 7″ diameter.
Turned it that afternoon.
It’s about 1/4″ thick. Between the turning and the sanding it was just about dry.
Then just let it finish drying for about a week.
No real warping.
Right now it has a second coat of tung oil drying on it. Later I’ll try the Beall buffing system on it.
