5.5cm diameter /6.5cm high hollow form turned in am irregular carob tree piece. It got 3 holles , difficult to work but nice result and good to lurn as we see a little bit what’s going on insde !

Grass Tree Bowl

This bowl, also made from Grass Tree, I made prior to the vase that I also sent a picture of. This wood is very easy to turn, but is not that soft, nor is it that hard. It has some serious figure to it and turning it without a dusk mask with a fresh air circulator fan would be awful as there are no shavings, just dust.

Birch Whistle

This is a whistle that I finished today, but had started it over a month ago, other projects came up. It is about 3 inches long and is finished with mineral oil and then paste wax. I think I will buff with wax again as it has some slight rough spots have occurred since it was oiled.
