I got the idea from Robbie the woodturner. Was a little challenging and you have to sand it by hand…..I hate sanding!!!!

Turned box
Carl,
Thanks for your encouragement in your videos, it’s all very helpful. Here I have a turned box that I just completed last week. It’s made from Myrtlewood, Maple Burl, and Yucatan Rosewood. This is the second of this design I’ve made and so far the first that has turned out without warping on me.

Razorback picture frame
11×13 Oak picture frame made for a coworker. I only did the frame and someone else did the actual picture.

Candle Holder
This has been my first time on a lathe and I made this candle holder.
I only got up to 180 grit because I didn’t have much time to do it in.
It was very fun turning wood and I think I will definitely take this up as a hobby!
