Guayucan Duck Call
I made this duck call from a piece of Guayacan (Genuine Lignum Vitae) that was half heart wood and half sap wood. I used an Echo polycarbonate, double reed, open water insert. The band is a THO 1 1/4″ OD x 1/2″ Wide Rimmed & Hammered Brass Band.

Osage Orange Square dish
I turned this out of a 6x6x2 piece of Osage Orange. I was inspired by on of your recent videos. Lots of hand sanding, but it came out great.

Pecan platter
12 inch pecan platter, this was my second try at this so I kept the form fairly simple. The first go around split in half as I was rounding the outer edge and also split my chin open. This was finished with 5 coats of shelac which was buffed with 0000 steel wool between coats.

Cherry burl Universal Stylus Pen
A stylus pen I finished a few days ago. I used Cherry Burl (one of my favorite woods) and then medium/thin CA glue for the finish. Sorry if the image looks a bit odd, I don’t have a light box and I’m trying to get as much light on the subject as I can.

New Yankee Lidded Box
Oak from an old headboard repurposed and glued up, hence the New Yankee part of the title. Made specifically for a neighbor girl for her birthday. It’s about 3 1/2″ wide and 3 1/2″ tall.
