Wooden waterbird
This is my version of a wooden waterbird. I saw one in a design shop in Denmark. I made this out of silver birch. The metal bars are the legs and the beak.

laburnum clock
The wife of a local farmer who works for the forrestry commission asked me to make a clock from a piece of laburnum (golden chain in the US I believe) cut from a tree in their own field to give to a work friend as a leaving present and this is the result, its around 12 inches wide and 10 inches high

second bowl
This bowl is made from jacaranda it is about 2″h – 7″W. Im 14 from Australia and have been turning for around 2 months.

Pyramid Boxes with Turned Lids
These boxes normally just get square lids with some slight rounding. I’m experimenting with embellishing the lids on the lathe. These are currently on display at the Shenandoah Valley Arts Center in Waynesboro VA.
