Wedding Gift

I made this segmented vase as a wedding gift for a friend of mine which i make music with in the local orchestra.
Used wood is maple and pear. There is also a copper inlay.

Probably a lot of your viewer ask you this, but would it be possible to get a shout-out for my woodturning channel since i put my first few videos online? Just in case it is possible, i leave a link to my Channel

Thank you very much for the time you spend on this!

Cheers

First Hollow Form

I have been turning for some years, but never attempted a hollow form before. All things considered, it went reasonably well, albeit, slowly – it took me about 3 hours. The inside needs some work but it will come with practice. The piece is 140 mm in diameter and 40 mm in height. The wood is a eucalyptus, red gum I think.
I live in Perth, Australia.
Thank you for a great site and videos.
