I turned these earrings from cherrywood for my sisters birthday. They didn’t turn out how I wanted to, nevertheless I am happy with the result.

Segmented woodturning vase

My latest segmented project with which I was very pleased to win my local woodturning clubs annual show, best in show trophy. Which was very rewarding considering the difficulty I had with the build, it stretched my abilities to the max.

VM150 … Sort of

For our upcoming President’s challenge. Produce a trophy. What would be better than something we all use (in my case wish for) … A good chuck! I modeled my trophy on a VM150 that a friend owns.
