Fire Ant Pens

Working on methods to cast fire ants into pen blanks to make into pens for a fire ant researcher friend!! Still working on this.

We started our own brand in Hong Kong last year mainly focus on woodworking and woodturning. And we basicly learn everything about woodturning on youtube (especially you 😀 ) because we are kinda lack of different kinds of sources here in Hong Kong :/ .

Anyway this zebrawood bowl is my first attempt on such type of hard material and, although it look me really lots of time but it turns out really really really nice.

Snowman

The snowman is approximately 7 in tall & 2 in in diameter. I glued the walnut to the alder then turned it as one piece. The “carrot” nose is alder colored orange with a pen.

Hybred grinders

Got tired of bowls and started grinders. I wanted something different and worked with Zach on doing an acrylic insert. A lot of possibilities here. Hope to see others do it.
