Hybrid Casting and Myrtlewood Stand

Zac cast this really cool hybrid blank with one of my paint chips in it. After I got home I decided to make a stand out of Myrtlewood.
We had such a great time at the AAW symposium! I got some great pictures from the show, and added them to the video.

Can Koozie With A CA FInish

I turned this koozie on the lathe out of quilted Maple and finished it with CA glue. This is a easy turning project that can be done in a few hours. I got the koozie kit from Woodcraft and finished it with Starbond CA glue.

Maple Whale Carving With The Arbortech Turbo Plane

I used the Arbortech Turbo Plane to carve this whale out of a piece of Maple.

Paint Pouring Bowl #2 “Dirty Pour”

This is our second attempt at paint pouring. I turned a natural edge bowl on the lathe before painting it. We tried a technique called dirty pour, it’s when you mix all the paint in one cup.
