Lidded Box
I made this box using Osage Orange wood with a insert of Black & White Ebony! I added some texturing to the top and under the lid! This one is my favorite I have made so far and wanted to share the finished project with everyone! Measures 4″ wide and 2 & 1/2″ tall… Thank you again Carl for all your instructional videos!!!
Thank you,
Jason Carter

My first ash box
I came across some ash cribbing and decided to try my hand at a box. I have only been turning about a month but I love it.

Beer Bottles
1.25″ PVC connection. This was a variation in Wood magazine, theirs was not a box. Another thing for the craft fairs

Cedar Turning
This Cedar vase/bowl came from a downed tree from Cades Cove, in Tennessee, It is from Dan Lawson’s Place over 160 years old, when I say the tree down, my first thought was to take a piece to turn, to give back to the Park to preserve a small part of history. So that’s what I did. I have a video of it as well, Sterling Davis on You Tube , Thanks for all you do and inspire

Offset winged box
I turned this piece as a personal challenge and entered it in my local clubs monthly competition where I came first in the experienced section. Really fun piece to turn. Boxwood box with elm lid.
