Nostalgic tool handles
When my Grandfather passed almost a decade ago, he left me a few tools. These two were in a five gallon bucket of rusty lathe tools and carving chisels. The handle on the skew was broken and the bowl gauge had a few cracks in it. I power sanded the rust off, treated them with a paste wax and turned new handles. The other tools in the set had decent handles so I kept them. I just bought my first lathe a month ago and it was nice to not need to buy tools. And, it keeps my Grandfathers tools from wasting away in a rusty bucket.
