Mushroom out of conifer
I turned a mushroom out of a fresh piece of conifer wood. the tree was taken down from my friends garden, and i turned it still wet, leaving the bark on the edges. no finish on it.

Spiral turned pepper mill
This is a pepper mill made from an old table lag of walnut. I used a Laguna tools Pinnacle Lathe with a spiral turning attachment. I show the whole process edited down to 9:30. This is not my first pepper mill but is the first with a spiral. I recommend using a forstner bit with extension for hollowing but I did not have one long enough.

tippe top and top rink
I’ve been making some tops, and I learned about tippe tops. Alan at “As Wood Turns” has a nice video, but his top didn’t work!! This one does. Very cool, I’d say.
