Folding table
Carl,
Here is a picture of the 2 folding work tables I made in my buddy’s shop last weekend. They are made out of cedar he cut and dried himself. I can see where it would be easy to modify the design now that I have built one. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on mine so far and have not put a finish on it because the cedar smells so good.
Thanks for sending me the dimension of the longer dowel pieces.

PS By the way my friend and his son were both Eagle Scouts.

Mesquite Baby Cradle
I am going to be a grand pa for the first in late October and wanted to build something special for the baby… I started looking at toys, mobiles etc. and nothing really stood out… till I started seeing cradles… So I decided to look into several different designs and combined the features I liked in all of them into one… The other challenge was to make it out of something that normally you don’t see… and Mesquite came to mind… went out and got some slabbed mesquite went through the process and got it finished in Mineral oil and beeswax… It looks rustic from a distance and super cool close up… the dowels used were red oak just to give it some contrast… Thanks for inspiring me with your videos,,,
