Multi-axis Lidded Box

This is a piece of mahogany that I turned using a multi-axis technique. I thought that it would be simple enough to make a lidded box, as long as the sides were flat the corners would still match up. I was wrong, this was very difficult to get the sides even.
Inside is a filler piece of pine where I over sanded the lid, and you can see a hairline crack on the lid from a catastrophic catch.
