Wood Turning

2″ wooden goblet

This is my first project with a 10 x 12 lathe bought from Harbor Freight.
I didn’t have the sanding papers and project finish to complete the project.
So here it is in the raw. I turned this out of a 30 year old piece of very dry
Birch wood that I had in my wood pile.

I’m hooked on turning. I can’t believe how rewarding it is. I build fly
fishing flies for a hobby but always wanted to try turning. Now
I know what all the interest is.
