First Goblet

My dad taught me how to turn a goblet. I added my on little touches. It is made of Tasmanian Blackwood that we got from Woodcraft. It is sanded and finished with Howard Feed-N-Wax (a preblended beeswax and orange oil).

Guayucan Duck Call

I made this duck call from a piece of Guayacan (Genuine Lignum Vitae) that was half heart wood and half sap wood. I used an Echo polycarbonate, double reed, open water insert. The band is a THO 1 1/4″ OD x 1/2″ Wide Rimmed & Hammered Brass Band.

Osage Orange Square dish

I turned this out of a 6x6x2 piece of Osage Orange. I was inspired by on of your recent videos. Lots of hand sanding, but it came out great.

Pecan platter

12 inch pecan platter, this was my second try at this so I kept the form fairly simple. The first go around split in half as I was rounding the outer edge and also split my chin open. This was finished with 5 coats of shelac which was buffed with 0000 steel wool between coats.
