Spalted oak bowl

I found the log in a ditch beside the road, cut off a piece about a foot long, put it in the lathe, and this came out of it, the little holes are the funny story. I thought my face shield was getting hit by water, then I stopped the lathe and all these worms were coming out of it. To finish it I used beeswax missed with mineral oil. Ended up getting two bowls abut 10 inches by 12 inches and a 10 in platter out of it.
