Natural edge box
I acquired some well dried Christmas trees from a relative in Oregon and decided to make her a small box in Thanks for the wood. The box is from the Christmas tree, the lid is from a piece of ash I got here in Wyoming and the finial is from a scrap piece of cocobolo. The pine turned very nice and smooth, unlike a lot of pine I’ve turned with very rough end-grain.
