Hybrid Resin and Aluminum / Turned Lidded Box
Zac from nvwoodwerks.com gave me this resin blank to turn into a lidded box. The blank is a hybrid, alumilite resin and aluminum honeycomb. Check out Zac’s channel he has a lot of great resin casting tips.
Easy Airbrushing With Stencils / Myrtlewood Platter
I turned this Myrtlewood platter on the lathe, and put some detail on the rim with my new Easy Wood Micro Detailer. After turning and sanding it up to 600 grit. I painted a Maple leaf using a airbrush and stencil from Chroma Craft. I finished the piece off with three coats of high gloss lacquer
Recycled Skateboard Project / Woodturning
Mobile shop road trip! This project is made out of recycled skateboards. Paul from Made By Skate Boarding made this awesome blank for me to turn at the demo on Saturday. We had a great time hanging out with a group of really cool people.
